A Safe Place For High School Students

Youth in Kansas City's Midtown Troost Corridor lack afterschool programs and services. The Mark will be a safe place where high school students can go after school. It will feature an open, user friendly design that includes casual recreation space, quiet study zones, and life-skills instructional facilities.

Keeping Students Engaged

The MARK will offer high school students mentoring, tutoring, job fairs, entrepreneurial training, to keep them engaged after school. Please help us reach our dream for high school students in the midtown Troost corridor.

Make A Difference In Your Community!

The MARK Dream...

Our dream is to provide a state of the art walk-in after school center for high school aged youth and community surrounding the Parish. Our future plans include renovation of over 3,000 sq. ft. in the church basement. The plan incorporates an open user friendly design that includes casual recreation space, quiet study zones, and life skills instructional facilities. Physical plant upgrades will provide optimum heating and cooling. Electrical upgrades will provide for state of the art lighting and plenty of electrical outlets. Please help us reach our dream for high school students living and attending school in the central city and the residents surrounding our facility.
